Super Bowl XLVI Party - Sunday, February 5, 2012

Come out and cheer for your team. Raffles, game board on sale at the bar. Food, Snacks. Special Super Bowl pricing at the bar. Moose Milk will be provided for members at 5:00 pm and throughout the game. Guest - $5.00 for Moose Milk. Member Appreciation pricing will be in effect also. Wear your team colors. Anyone playing the $2.00 game boards will be able to eat free, otherwise, the cost is $6.00 per person.

The Board of Officers is seeing an increase in the use of the kid’s room. The kid’s room computers are out dated for games. If there is a member that would like to donate a computer for our kids, please see one of the officers. Remember, please help your kids clean the room up when they are finished playing.

The Board of Officers would like to congratulate Wayne Kaikko for receiving the Arrow Head award from the MD/DE/DC Moose Association for all of his dedication and hard work.

The lodge held a Moose Legion Appreciation Dinner with guest speaker, Moose International Councilman Danny Williams. We would like to thank the people that came out for the dinner and presentation. Congratulations to the newest Moose Legion #218 members Billy Hildebrand, Mark Hollister and Livingston Vann, IV who are from our Lodge.

The lodge held a public Thanksgiving dinner for the people in need. There were 140 in attendance. The Board of Officers would like to thank all of the donations, staff and members that stepped up and helped for this nice event.

The lodge held a joint party with WOTM. Halloween and Christmas parties for the public and the member’s kids. The Board of Officers thinks that the kids had a good time.

Thanks to all that came out to the annual adult Christmas party. We had 144 come out and enjoy food, fun and fellowship. We collected food for the food bank.

The winner of the bike raffle (2 bikes) was Michelle Cruz.
